Don't want a John Deere, change the logo on the tank and you'll have a Packer bike. A 1984 Honda VT500 Ascot. They only made this bike for two years and they are terrific. A new paint job and a little work and this would still be a good road bike. Even has the original owner's manual. The front brake doesn't work and the original starter button was broken and replaced with a different switch. Bike starts and runs good, but is cold blooded in cool weather and has to warm up before driving it. Liquid cooled, of course. I have the original seat, also, to return it to a road bike. Also has a clear title. $900 OBO, cash only, no checks, or will taking guns on trade for all or part.
