I picked up a neglected Honda CB650 SC Nighthawk about 14 years ago
and have only changed the oil myself, one time. The other times I
have had the shops do it. I attempted this year. Front end oil
filter no problem. Clymer Manual claims that the 17mm oil pan bolt is
near the dipstick. Not true. I assume it is the 17mm bolt at the
bottom of the engine. However, no amount reefing and pulling has
successfully released this bolt. The bolt head is stripping now.

Can anyone give me a snapshot of the oil pan and bolt for 1984? I
want to make sure I am not breaking an engine bolt that will lead to a
disaster. You can tell I am really good at this stuff!

Thanks,
Adam
