How's the engine running?

My guess would be some sort of obstruction in the fuel system has
upset the fuel flow.  Trash, in the form of rust, loosened by the
spill maybe.

Possibly a vacuum leak, a stuck float valve or clogged air filter --
pretty much anything that could interfere with fuel getting to the
combustion chambers in the proper air/fuel ratio.

Bikes run better when they are kept vertical (!)
