Just yesterday some friends and I decided to take a little Memorial Day
jaunt around the valley. Nothing huge, just around 100 miles, but to my
surprise, my daughter, who is 18, decided she wanted to come along. (She's
getting married in 10 days and probably figured this would be her last ride
of any significance with dear old dad.)

At first I was a little reticent as I had never taken a passenger on my 750
over the age of 7. (My two grand daughters-the children of my older
daughter--LOVE to go on short rides.) But I was pleasantly surprised at how
the Magna accelerated and handled with an adult passenger. I'm so
accustomed to riding Goldwings where passengers can barely be felt, much
less affect handling, that I was afraid my much lighter V-4 750 might be
adversely affected. How cool to discover that wasn't the case!

We had a nearly perfect riding day with ample sunshine and highs in the
upper 70s. We took a picture of the group at a local Red Robin which I will
send just as soon as I get it off my daughter's camera. :-)
