My neighbor is a Harley mechanic for a local dealership. Quiet guy, doesn't talk much.
But his wife does. He scored a non-running '02 Buell Cyclone over the weekend and we hauled it to his house in my pickup. Apparently, he had not mentioned the purchase to her and she was livid. "I can't believe you spent $800 on that thing...and it doesn't even run!" was one of her milder comments. He just smirked and wheeled it into his garage and I left. Didn't want to hang around with an irate female on the loose (!) Three hours later he was popping wheelies up and down the street. So I'm thinking, quiet as he is, maybe he got the last word in.
