Kyle and All,
             What I meant by the 'Nighthawk' reference was the low
(ish) sticker price - basic construction - high relative fuel mileage
- plus it being billed as the do-it-all bike, good at many different
tasks.
             Your maintenance comment is apt - anything with that
style of fairing is a pain.
