Couldnt agree more. If you put microfibre cloth in the bottom of bag,
everything is ok. I did the same and it works perfect. Better then
straps, those can really scrach paint, because of constantly moving
around when driving.

i use a teknic expanding magnetic mount tank bag but to save the top
of the tank i siliconed a microfibre cloth to the bottom of the tank
bag. no more maring of the paint. make sure that you check the magnets
for metal bits. you would be amazed what a paper staple will do to
your paint.
