Dunno if you followed that thread to the end, but it has a disappointing conclusion. K just up and disappeared in July 2010 after entering South America.
Stopped posting and no more communication after that. Lotta speculation that his parents yanked his chain and pulled him back to Korea, but nobody knows. They haven't heard from him since. So much for the Pyong Yang free spirit. Bummer. It was such a good story.
