When you reply to an email, it's going to the group by default. If it came from the list it replies to the list. You will not receive emails you sent to the list, but we get them.
If you want to send to a specific person you'll need to replace the list email with their personal email address. To show us pictures, just attach them to an email to the list, or upload on a site like Flickr or photobucket and use the "direct link" option (on photobucket, for instance).
