Just moved to Tucson, AZ. It's monsoon season and I live at the end of a half mile dirt road. I barely made it home before the low points in the roads flooded, but not before my bike got all muddy and I was soaked. My question is: what do i do for the chain in circumstances like this? Surely dirt and grit are now in the chain.
One person suggested i should pressure wash everything off the chain and re-lube. I guess i can do that if i need to, though will have to drive the 12 miles or so into town to do it.. Any other suggestions? Oh: 1992 Nighthawk 750 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
