+1 To both of kurts posts. I would love to have a diesel touring bike, so much i would pay retail for it and give up my wing... Just as long as it doesent have a hd stamp on it. I have thought that a diesel crurser would be the poo!

Told them that they could probably sell, with ease, a supercharged Harley 1600cc V-twin diesel to their fanbase. It ticks off so many boxes: clattery big industrial diesel, mad torque (perception of high power), superchargers, diesel smoke potential, loud pipe potential... and also the ability to go forever on one of those big tanks of fuel and actually get some pretty clean emissions without even needing aftertreatment. Haven't heard back from them. Much as I hate to admit it, really you'd have to get HD onboard to sell one in the US. As Harley goes, so goes the metric cruiser market. If Honda makes a diesel Shadow or VLX, they'd probably also offer a diesel 'wing. The gates would then be open and off you go. -Kurt On Mon, Aug 6, 2012 at 8:08 PM, Dave duChene <[email protected]> wrote: > Couldn't have said it better. > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
