Kudos.  Outstanding.  A man after my own heart.

I'm 70 and plan something similar I call the Smell The Roses tour --
just wander about aimlessly allowing spur of the moment to dictate the
destination.  I'll probly use the Wing for comfort, though, rather
than my 750, due to some physical limitations (sciatica and a not
quite healed tailbone injury).

High-five your buddy.  He's an inspiration to us old farts.
