When my Grandfather was in his mid 70's when he went for almost a month long tour of the North east and Canada motorcycle camping. When he got out of the Navy after WW2 he did a west coast to east coast ride with a buddy on two old Indians. It was his first motorcycle experience. He never owned a bike again till he turned 70 (though he always wanted one), and once he got one he rode till the day he died at 80. That is how I got into riding as I inherited his NH. Outstanding. A man after my own heart. I'm 70 and plan something similar I call the Smell The Roses tour -- just wander about aimlessly allowing spur of the moment to dictate the destination. I'll probly use the Wing for comfort, though, rather than my 750, due to some physical limitations (sciatica and a not quite healed tailbone injury). High-five your buddy. He's an inspiration to us old farts. On Aug 19, 1:35 pm, Jaybird248 <[email protected]> wrote: > A riding club buddy of mine has a '93 NH750. He's 77.
