Ever since I watched "The Motorcycle Diaries" (which I've done about 8 times now), I've wanted to ride from Argentina to Venezuela. Call it my "Victory lap." Well, this past May I did a 3-day ride on a rented Honda NX400 Falcon from Cuzco, Peru to Machu Picchu and back and it was outrageous! I want to do something like it again this Christmas as a tune up before working out the details and doing the Victory Lap.
They say the only regrets you have when you look back on your life are the things you didn't do. Well, self-denial has like been my middle name, so before I'm too old to hold a bike up, I want to say "I'm doing it" and get it crossed off the list. Anyone else have dreams of a MC trip across South America? On Sunday, August 19, 2012 1:35:01 PM UTC-4, jaybird248 wrote: > > A riding club buddy of mine has a '93 NH750. He's 77.
