Most of them just unscrew from the gauge. My speedometer stopped working on my rainy ride home today. I read a few posts on this topic and gather the most common reason is the cable itself? The speedometer unit can be tested using a cordless drill on the end of the cable? Do I have to remove / disassemble the housing, to gain access to the cable's end? The Clymer catalog is not very clear, or perhaps I'm not looking at it correctly. Thanks.
