There are two slack adjusters, one on each side of the bike, built into the tail ends of the swing arm rails.
If you've adjusted the chain side to take up slack, you've already found one of them. The other is on the brake side and is identical. It should be set to the same marks as the chain side. Aldo's suggestion to use a magnifying glass was probly in jest, but he's on the money. I carry one of those little credit card sized fresnel magnifiers in my wallet for just such occasions.
