Ok when you take off the switch there is a a round piece with a pin on the small end and a slot on the end that mates the back side of the switch. It clicks along with shift lever and coincides with the gear you are in or neutral. This is not in sinc. My 91 motor got stuck in goth gear so I replaced the motor. I tried to use the old switch. Should I use the newer switch? And whitch way do I have to turn it to get back on track?
