Well Paul, there was a bunch of questions :-)
I'm in Maine - I have a variety of antique engines ranging from
1/2 to about 14 horsepower - all between 1919 and 1970 - and I rarely do
much with them. I also have (as do most who have collected in that hobby) a
half way decent sized junk pile of old blocks and parts that don't go
together or are too far gone to bother with. Unfortunately, I rarely have
the sheetmetal to go with them, that would make the engine.
As to off the grid stuff - I've pretty much figured that the Grid
is the least expensive source for power, so I'm sticking with that.
As to CNC - as a matter of fact, yes. My Fiance's best friend's
Father is a machinist by trade and although they specialize in large
precision work, I'm sure they could find the ability to do a small job
somewhere in there. If not, I am reasonably sure I could find another
resource.
           Why?
           -Joey
