Gene, I don't mean any disrespect but you are flat out wrong and spreading misinformation... If you hook a positive up to the ground/- it will cause a short and burn a fuse. Hooking them both together doesn't make them brighter it just feeds over the flasher relay and causes the light to stay on and then turn signal not to function. The voltage doesn't change the brightness doesn't change.
