Don't forget about the additional $250 Million in aid to Egypt.

Subject: [Nighthawk Lovers] Re: DOD Travel Policy Changes Due to Sequester
(UNCLASSIFIED)

Humor, of course, but like most humor, contains an element of truth.

What I'm ranting about is that, for every story you hear of ridiculous
cutbacks, you hear one of government excess -- we're going to layoff
TSA airport screeners, which will cause delays for air travelers (also
exposed as a crock by the airlines), but it's okay, we're going to
spend exorbitant amounts to buy the ones who remain on the job, new
uniforms. Meanwhile, there's a nuclear carrier tied up to a pier
because we "can't afford to refuel it."

We're cutting back on guided tours of national parks and historical
institutions to save a few bucks, but the feds have cornered the
market on hollow point ammo (for target practice!) That one's
factual, by the way. I can't find anything but crappy Walmart range
ammo for my pistols, and forget finding magazines anywhere.

And all this hoopla over an amount of money that will run the
government for only about 10 days (!)

Talk about yer meller drammer.
