I agree with Kyle, however, Kurt said to use Rotella T which is a very good oil for diesels.  REgarding Marvel Mystery oil.  Our company make air piston vibrators for hopper, chute, and rail cars.  Some of our products have a teflon coated bore & piston.  We have had reutrns of units that have been running Marvel Mystery oil and somehow it works the teflon and make a cottage cheese like residue when we open and inspect.  So I am suspect of Marvel Mystery oil for other than purerly engines.  You can visit our web site at www.navco.us.

The main concern is the friction modifiers in todays car oil. Since the motor and transmission share the same oil on a bike and the clutch is sitting in the oil you can ruin the clutch by using car oil.

You can usually pick up Naptha in quantities at a good paint store as well - both the one my fiancee works at and the one my Father works at carry it.
