Your issue is probably that the return port in the master cylinder is clogged. Let some fluid out of the caliper to relieve the pressure and the caliper should go back in enough to spin the wheel. There should be two ports in the top of the master cylinder the small one just needs a small pin run through it. You should get a rebuild kit for the master cylinder and possibly new brake lines as that is what most likely caused the clog. Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T

I went to take a ride today, but didn't get far. After 3 miles I stopped to get gas and smoke was coming from my right rotor. It appeared that my brakes had locked up. I haven't touched or gone over the front brakes at all - so I'm going to completely rebuild the calipers & install new pads. This is not my primary issue though. It appears that my rotors are warped, but being a n00b on motorcycles (I have almost 20 years experience doing brakes on cages), I just want a consensus that what I'm seeing is indeed true. My rotors are rubbing my caliper mounts. So much so that it's hard to turn the wheel by hand with the calipers off. I've found a used set on ebay for $50, or a new pair for almost $400. Thoughts, suggestions and comments would do me a world of good at this point! Anything to help me going in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
