There is a fairy easy fix for this common problem. See the thread titled " 650 *Wonky Fuel* Gauge<https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!searchin/nighthawk_lovers/wonky$20fuel|sort:relevance/nighthawk_lovers/X2vvvfFEVo8/dcSSw0QqAu0J>" With this info I fixed my gauge in about 1/2 hour. Now it works great!! :)
