Hey Gibby-

Allen's list covered it!

Smart clothing gear helps too, . .

I have the stock CB550 tool kit & it has a 15-amp fuse on an outer pocket. I
also keep some of the little tin-foil dog-bone shaped main fuses handy.

Similar to AAA,
There's Roadside Assistance with an American Motorcyclist Association
membership ($50). I love the monthly magazine.
Rider.com insurance includes it in their coverage. I pay $50 a year.

If I were going to take a trip I'd pack a CO2 inflator, and plug kit, first aid
kit, a minimalists tool kit, ziplock bags, trash bags, zip ties, knife, and a
flashlight. If a repair requires more than that AAA is a good idea. Also from
my time in the marines I found that you can never have too many pairs of socks.

Subject: [Nighthawk Lovers] What' are your everyday carry vs your long trip
 carry items?

Just curious, what emergency supplies do guys carry with you all the time (i.e
do you have a toolkit, what do you have in it)? Do you add different things if
you're going on a longer trip? I wanna make a travel kit for my bike and
looking for suggestions.
