Congrats on buying your first bike!
I would echo the sentiments already mentioned - the front forks
(the big tubes that hold the front tire to the rest of the bike) can be
lowered however, it is in general not done in favor of lowering the rear
instead. Suzuki made an entire line of bikes in the 80s with an L after the
model number for Low and basically all they did was to re-work the rear
suspension and change the seat for a lower one.
If you're entirely too short for the bike - as in we're talking
inches too short - it might be better to consider a different bike than to
try to re-work the suspension on this one. If we're talking about a small
adjustment - that should be doable with the rear suspension and perhaps a
modified seat.
