I have this same issue, does not effect driving but really makes me worry,
At first I thought chains also but i have a few month old drive chain, I
ruled out timing because when in neutral no sound. Then I noticed when
rolling the bike while off it was clicking in the front wheel at the same
spot. Inspected the brake system, no problems, So only thing else I can
think of is the Front wheel bearing or a bent front axle.

any ideas?
