I had a sticky ignition lock on mine & sprayed WD-40 in it using the extension tube on the can. It seemed to fix it.
Thank you, Ross -----Original Message----- From: "750S" <[email protected]> Sent: 7/25/2013 6:07 AM To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> Subject: [Nighthawk Lovers] Ignition Sometimes when I turn the key on my 1985 CB750SC Nighthawk S instead of all functioning normally, all the lights will come on but they will be only about half their intensity. By moving the key a small amount this problem will leave and everything functions great. If it happens with the bike running it will misfire badly!! Has anyone else on here had this same sort of issue? Is my ignition worn out? or just dirty inside? If I need to replace the ignition any tips on where to find a new one? or any tips on what product is good as a spay cleaner for the ignition? Thanks in advance for your thoughts on this topic. Safe a happy riding everyone. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
