Thanks again everyone - it was much easier then I thought it would be. I have to say that the penny trick made this so easy to install. I hooked the spring to my work bench, put a screw driver threw the other end and pulled up while my 15 year old inserted penny's into the spring - we filled every ring. The spring was loose when I first installed it, I put into the down position and set the bike on the spring and just pulled out the penny's. The only hard part was pulling up on the spring while my daughter inserted the penny's.
