She was parked for almost a whole year. We putted new oil, oil filter, battery and tires, once again, thanks to Allen. The ride took me 13 hrs total, a lot more than when I rode my cbr a couple months ago. However, somehow I enjoyed a lot more. The NH performed perfectly as usual. I had no windshield so I cruise most of the time at 55-65 mph. I decided to stop every 100 miles, and each stop I took a pretty decent time to rest, eat, drink and stretch my legs. I think that was crucial for the success of the trip: despite making the whole journey a lot longer, I didn't feel to exhausted in any part of the trip. Another crucial thing was the fact that I also got a throttle lock for cruise control. It is probably the best decision I have made in a long time. It is the longest I have ever ridden any motorcycle, and I enjoyed every part of the trip, except at the very end when it got dark and really cold. But that was about 60 miles from home so not a big issue after all. I admit that now I pretty destroyed, but I am glad she is finally home.
