Riding to work today I came up on a Cadillac CTS. When he noticed me back there he started increasing speed, so we were cruising along at a decent clip and we came on a straight so he nailed it. I was easily 2 gears too high so I just downshifted 1 to see if I could hang just using torque. He pulled away from be but we were coming to a 90 turn with a nice bank so when we got there I entered the turn doing maybe 35 in 1st gear and as soon as I apexed the turn I cracked it WOT. When I shifted into 2nd at 50 MPH she pulled a wheelie, I was still a bit leaned over so I know the tire completely came off the ground. Anyway I shot up on that car so fast he had to know that he was no match. Anyway I didn't think the old girl had it in her. Not bad for a 1979 bike with low compression, 30K on the clock, and a larger countershaft sprocket. Yes I know I'm a squid.
