I used an epoxy I got at an auto parts store and a watch crystal. I still have it at home I can get you the name brand later if you like. Its the stuff that when you mix the two together it smells like wet dog. You have to be careful with the stuff because it hardens pretty fast and if you are not neat and careful you will have fun cleaning up after wards. I think if I remember correctly I used toothpicks to apply the glue a little at a time to ensure a neat application. Once done it looked almost like a new one. Its still crystal clear after 2 years.
