I looked at the ingredients and it seems to be the old bucket cleaner but in a
small can.

Subject: [Nighthawk Lovers] B-12 Chemtool Fuel Treatment

Just thought I would check with the experts. :) At the local Walmart they
have the Berryman B-12 fuel treatment next to the Seafoam. I have used
Seafoam and love it. Thought I would give the B-12 a try since it is less
money, and just to see if I could tell a difference.

In my research to see if other people had used the B-12 product - I did a
search on here before I posted - I didn't find a lot. I did come across
this video:
http://youtu.be/H_eZfhdwfcA and this comment:

This is a chemistry trick. B12 breaks down styrene polymers, which
polystyrene is. Styrene by itself is not a polymer and does not cause build
up as suggested--a clear misrepresentation. Worse, little do people know
that styrene polymers are used to make most plastics and rubber-- the very
material used for engine seals, gaskets and hoses, and possibly other
parts. B12 reacts with such materials in the same way, so it's the last
thing you want to expose your car to. Some very volatile stuff...

In your opinion(s) is B-12 harmful to seals, gaskets, hoses, etc.?
If I'm using Seafoam, does B-12 "add" anything useful?

I pretty much only use premium (91) in my bike anyway.

Thanks in advance!
MJB
