Safety is my primary concern. I'm no longer a speed demon and avoid driving
in wet conditions. Usually I only ride day trips, longest of which is
200-250 miles or so. Having said that though, if I were to get caught in a
rainout I would like to have piece of mind knowing that tires have good wet
traction. Longevitity is also a concern as is ride comfort. I have to say
that I was QUITE IMPRESSED with the GT501's except for longevitity!! They
were worn out at about 5000-6000 miles.I don't know if that's abnormal or
not?? Maybe I was expecting too much.
