I upgraded my stock shocks to Progressive Shocks I purchase used on eBay. The roads in Hawaii are probably the worst I've ever been on. Pot holes, cracks and just overall bad conditions. I feel the difference when I hit all the bad spots. They are certainly worth the $80 I paid for them and if I have a bad back I think they'd be worth the retail price. I'm very surprised that they make that much of a difference.
A couple of years ago my stock shock were failing and Javier gave me his. So if anyone is looking for stock shocks for a 90's to 2003 750 let me know.
