I've been living in Hawaii for 11 years. Going back to California is always a little bit of a learning curve for me. Driving at 70+ on a regular basis is different. When I was doing 55 in the carpool lane the traffic next to me was doing maybe 30/35. The carpool lanes have lots of space between lanes but still going 15+ fast than the car on the left and 30+ faster than the one on the right just seems crazy in my book. Even when I lived in Northen California 11 years ago I thought the speeds these guys split lanes was amazing if not stupid. I miss the open roads of the mainland and our traffic on Oahu is always one of the worst in the nation. I have a customer in Minneapolis who ride almost year round. I think he's crazy but he loves it. Sean
