I dunno, but "to a 17 from a 15" and "from a 15 to a 17 tooth" mean pretty much the same to me. Anyway, I went up to a 16 to see what it was like, and I like the change. I still look for 6th gear, though. Funny, I never look for 7th on my 6-speed bikes. I'm going up to 17:38 ASAP. I have a feeling I'm going to like it and the effect on my gas mileage.
