Hey guys I'm new to the group and just thought I would share progress
and get a few suggestions on my project build.
First, I'll give a little backstory:
About 8 months ago I did a little trading on Craigslist and ended
up with a decent nighthawk. At factory, it wasn't a bad bike but it needed
some personality. I jumped right in and started changing things I didn't
like and had a nice bike to ride around on.
Then a good friend of mine wrecked it (Luckily he wasn't hurt too
bad) and I basically had some shiny scrap, so I started from the ground up
and I'm currently working on getting her back to where I want her.

     Mods include:
-removal of the god-awful factory air box and passenger pegs
          -conversion into a rigid
          -smaller solo seat.
          -28" black drag bars
          -Arlen-Ness billet chrome mirrors
          -fixed steel rear flat fender
          -Harley Davidson highway pegs
-Harley Davidson FLH pipes (which need to be replaced!)
-Offset chopper-style brake light and custom tag mount
-And strangely enough, Renthal soft compound MotoX grips, which
are pretty comfortable as it turns out.

     Mods to come:
-Harley Davidson SoftTail pipes (They were free and I want to at
leats try them)
          -2 1/2 gallon peanut tank
-new saddlebags (as mine were destroyed in the wreck)
          -bobber spring seat
          -Classic chopper style pods
-a little creative surprise for turn signals on the rear!

I will be more than happy to post some pics when the rain lets up and any
suggestions are greatly appreciated!
