I haven't given up yet... Not that I could afford shop prices if I had... I've tried lowering the frame onto the engine. I've got 2 hoists hooked to the frame. I've also tried hoisting the engine and wiggling it into the frame (bike & frame upright.) I keep getting hung up... According to the book, it is supposed to be able to come out and go back in with the valve cover on... I took my valve cover off hoping to make it easier... No go... I'm nearly to the point of just stripping the thing for parts.
