Well this bike has a long history. My gramps bought a 650 new back in 83. My uncles wrecked it, so it had a bent frame but good engine. It sat in a garage for ~25 years.
FFW my gramps died I got his collection (gs550, cb650, gl1100). Since the 650 engine was ok and the frame was junk, I found a 550 frame to use. I have the 650 forks, brakes, swinger, wheels on the frame, it rides nice! I have almost all 550 parts, but that dang battery cover!
