Same conversation I have with my customers.... the amp hour ratings for starting battries is bogus... only cycling battries apply to the ah rating. you need to look at the cranking amps and or cold cranking amps (ca/cca). Think of your battery as a tank. It dosent matter how large it is if you cant get the water (amps) out fast enough (small hose vs large hose).
The diffrence between a starting and a deep cycling battery.internally is the ratio of lead volume to lead surface area....
