Thanks for all the tips! I think I'll go the Evaporust route since my SO has done it successfully with another bike. I've definitely taken the petcock apart and cleaned it, and will do so again when I do this fix. Good to hear about Kreem (and the downside of using it). This is why this group is so awesome.
