Don't that look good?

As compared to the Rifle Sport fairing Allen pointed out for the lucky guy
with the loaded NH 450,
this one is more for superbikes by piercing the wind better while
maintaining the most important
central fairing coverage (anything outside essential piercing is going to
slow you down significantly).
>From the front view, this fairing looks much better than that one which was
shown from the back on the NH 450
(the front view of the Sports Fairing looks like a round martian saucer,
but I bet it's good on the road.)

I did notice all the Sport fairings were on mid size bikes mainly from
observation. Although they will go on the superbikes too,
the handlebar mounting fairings with lots of power makes the large round
Sports fairing less than perfectly stable. Plus the Sports fairings are
$100 more, ha ha. Of course the superbike fairing will require the lower
acrylics plates whereas the sports
fairing could 'almost' do without them as far as hiding my horns behind the
larger central obstruction.
But to stay dry, the lower acrylic shields are really required. There needs
to be an air leak under the shield also
to stabilize cabin pressure, which they have a $20 plastic piece for that.

With the correct height shield, this looks like a real fine option, but its
getting pricey with even the black gloss paint:
a little over $420 shipped. I glued my PF 3 tonight, and I'll start looking
for a decent dirt cheap used Rifle Superbike fairing.
Right now, I saw some NOT so decent used ones. All things come in time.
This was the first decent fairing I have ever seen
for a superbike. This is a real fine site Paul!

Thanks Allen!! (although I did see one once on a BMW 750 triple I was
pondering buying when I bought my bike
- but too pricey, too old, too many miles, and old BMWs are too expensive
to maintain for a starving student.)
:-)
