For $68.50 tax, shipping, and 10 days later, this Airborne jacket ROCKS! It's Heayy 600 fabric (shoulder, back, elbow removable pads) with 2 side-back vents, and a large vent down the front center zipper.You don't need no stinkin' liner (in So. Cal or the South anyway :-) It's like a convertible mesh jacket with a Heavy duty shell you can zipper over the vents if you want. It's also got hip, elbow, and wrist adjustments too, as well as a neck velcro fastener.
It's got little military approved velcro patches (business card size, 2" x 3.5") on the shoulders that I want to replace with Honda Motorcycle velcro patches.** Anyone know where I can get some? It's got to be the best jacket I could imagine at ANY price (well, I would like Huge zippers like a NorthFace backpack, but....maybe some day.) Did I say it Rocks?!?!
