If you want some scientific data on there matter, you might hire someone
like Al Gore or Phil Bailey, but I'm not going to be reading those papers. I
might however use them to start my fireplace though, which is highly
inefficient and some might even say unscientific. Nonetheless its adds a nice
ambience to my den on cold winter nights, and provides a nice backup to my
heat pump.

This list is populated by some really smart people. I mean really smart
types, some whom work in engineering and electronics (and at least two, if I
recall correctly, who work in healthcare).
I'd love to see the statistical analysis, and the raw data and
methodology, that correlates cataracts with wireless usage and conclusively
establishes a casual relationship. There are so many other possible causes,
INCLUDING
the advancement of medical science and diagnosis accuracy, that can
explain the "epidemic" of eye problems in developed nations that I'm not going
for wireless radiation without some data.
Next... you do realize that routers, cellular phones, Bluetooth and other
wireless devices aren't directed emissions devices, right? The antennas are
designed to be as omnidirectional as possible, specifically so you don't
have to be a contortionist to use them. Yeah, there are high spots and low
spots in their emissions pattern, and there are directed gain antennas out
there, but really? Thinking the signal only radiates from the back of the
phone or device? That would cut out more than half your potential tower
connections, since the cutoff boundaries of an antenna aren't sharp edges.
Using
a cell phone on the move would be a joke! Wireless routers would be
useless, less convenient than cabled connections.
I'm reasonably certain that bad posture and lack of movement can more than
account for any correlation between computer time and drowsiness. Our
posture in general sucks when we're sitting at a desk, when we're chilling at
home surfing the web before dinner/bed I can almost guarantee it gets worse.
I know mine does. Posture has been proven time and again in clinical
trials to have an impact on how energetic or lethargic one might feel, and has
been likewise proven to impact circulation and blood oxygen content. Bad
posture produces tired people, no need for 50s style radiation scares.
Motorcycling IS dangerous. Even geared up you're seriously low on
protection, exposed to the elements, riding several hundred pounds of metal
and
fuel at sometimes high rates of speed. You can easily become dehydrated, and
the wind noise pounding at your ears compounds the exhaustion of holding one
position for the ride. Fatigue can pile on quickly from all sides, from
wind and the noise and mental stress of constant vigilance. Getting off and
stretching regularly, drinking plenty of water, making sure your gear is
suitable for the weather are all crucial to your safety. Being well rested,
calm and alert are also important parts of the equation.
I care about people's safety while riding. I promote, actively, safe
riding habits. I'm always down for helping someone keep their bike in safe
shape. Sometimes I'll even pay for a needed part if someone's money is tight.
Notice what's missing from all that?

Perception lags behind reality.

Of course there are dosages and you have billions of cells to destroy. Is
the cataract epidemic in civilized countries a coincidence to wireless
creation? And man's thin limit of Potassium which is an electrolyte has
nothing
to do with radioactivity (did they have that in Wikapedia?)

In human energy, there is catabolic (destructive) and anabolic (creating)
energy forces. Energy that goes through your skin (like microwaves) and
destroys cells from the nucleus are destructive. Sitting at your pc will make
you sleepy, but the real damage shoots directly out the back of the pc (or
away from any handheld wifi device). I assume from your comments you have
never measured it before with a gage since you did not know where it comes
from. A good rf meter is about $200 shipped, but you can feel it with your
hand. And if you feel microwave beams with your hand, it is stopping your
cells from receiving oxygen and other essential body fluids (not understood
fully by Western medicine). You cannot isolate yourself from microwaves,
granted: but you can keep your head out from the direct beam source which is
the most destructive (and it travels up to miles long and through multiple
walls: but again, the direct mw beam is the most destructive.) You have
never experienced mw sleepiness working on a pc? Leave the back of a wifi
pointed at your head (behind the screen) one night while you sleep. Sweet
dreams.

Mike21222,

You still have not said anything, I'm sorry to inform you.

Kurt Nobile,

Forgive me for caring about unaware and overzealous motorcyclists: it's a
common fault of healthcare providers. Motorcycling is dangerous enough
without falling asleep.

You seem pretty convinced of what you are saying so I am not sure if you
will take this nicely or not, but please be aware is not my intention to be
insulting in any way. What you wrote has no sense to me, and I will only
ask you to check your sources carefully. Terminology like "energy forces"
shows me you might be a bit confused. Energy and force are two completely
different things in physics. Also, while is true that radiation can have many
drastic effects on the human body, you there is a very big difference
between microwaves (not ionizing radiation), and UV, X-rays, and Gamma-rays.
The
latter are ionizing radiation, meaning that they are capable of modifying
the human DNA and cause direct damage.

You must also consider the dosage of the radiation. Our bodies receive
radiation ALL the time from many different sources: cosmic rays, radioactive
materials, electronics, etc. Even foods can be radioactive. Bananas, for
example, have large quantities of potassium, which makes them radioactive. But
the amount of radiation is inoffensive (although I read somewhere that
about 600 bananas count as a one chest X-ray, quite amazing).

Since the cellphone came around, there has been some controversy about the
microwave radiation affecting our bodies (same thing you were talking
about). All the evidence indicates there is not effect. If you think about it,
there are many electronics that emit microwaves (wireless phones, wireless
routers, the microwave oven). I am not sure but I believe you are probably
getting more radiation in your skull by seating in front of the computer
while you read this, that what you can get with a bluetooth set.

However, if nothing of this convince you, I suggest you building a
Faraday's cage and stay there without any electronics. But you still can
shield
yourself from neutrinos. They are gonna get you no matter what.

Don't worry, there is no real need for that. You will be fine. We all will
be fine.

Javier.

Sorry for the abbreviated explanation. Your body fluids if delayed can
make you sick, anemic, and encounter a multitude of health issues (no oxygen,
no essential electrolyte requirements in crucial ratios, ...). Microwaves
can go through walls etc... only shielded by metal and filtered by
polyester. Direct waves are the most dangerous since the more walls, the
slower the
energy force. But right up next to your noggin??

Your body is a work of art in function based on electrochemicals, oxygen,
and nerve energy flows. If it's unnatural, its better off left out of your
body or you are going to impede life sustaining functions supporting your
body tissue. And microwaves, xrays, and infrasonics are the main energy
forces that can go through your body cells. And radiation can destroy your
body
cells without ever going through the cell barriers by destroying the
nucleus inside (eyes, brains, muscles, ... IE - dead eye, brain, nerve, muscle
cells) with your skin intact. Without oxygen to your brain, the first
noticeable event will be you pass out, or go to sleep.

Google has gone off the deep end, and they will lose a huge law suit if
the tea baggers don't keep our country based on electronic voting and real
time wireless (, ha ha) manipulated vote counts for the next century. Things
are starting to get out of control is someone does not smell the coffee
soon. But anyhow, DON'T drive a motorcycle (especially) with a microwave
transmitter in your helmet!! Please. Your brain will go to sleep and you will
wreck possibly killing others, among other detrimental side effects to you:
none good. No distractions are worth that, unless possible shielded
properly: which won't happen because Easy Money is cheap with no safety guards
(like no pollution standards in China's manufacturing for the whole world.) It
m
ay cost up to approximately $1.21 per unit to properly shield an
electronic device, and never count unrestricted lobbyists to do anything right
for
safety or health on their own (look at Cheney's teeth, for example :-)
