It looks like a left side-car spacing for the Datsun rear end. Either that or the rider mounts it from the rear by pogoing over the sissy bar (cool for someone else to do and for me to watch.)
Them mountain boys around Knoxville are cutting and welding up some vehicles they don't want to keep, for good reason. Although a lot of LA choppers I've seen lately are like the Easy Rider chopper with no front brakes or shocks. Can you imagine paying $40K to $50K for one of those death traps? I max stop my big 1100cc front disk every other day on average! It's the best brake, single or dual I've ever had. Maybe the bent leveraged handle helps too (that's why I am leaving it alone like that!) It used to be fatiguing to stop with the stock oem handle in traffic off and on, before the custom bend (from falling over.) ymmv On Tuesday, September 23, 2014 9:03:49 PM UTC-7, EGrider wrote: > > Check this out: > > http://knoxville.craigslist.org/mcy/4659744611.html > > That's Yankee (or Reb) ingenuity!
