Get a spray bottle and put about 2 inches worth of ATF then fill the bottle with kerosene. Spray liberally and use a wire toothbrush, a regular toothbrush or bottle brush, then wipe off with a rag. It works as a cleaner, degreaser, rust preventer, rubber rejuvinator, and penetrating oil. Good for cleaning chains and major grime too.
