Javier, yes you're right on both accounts. 

There will be import taxes involved, which will differ from country to 
country. I'll have to figure out which country is the most advantageous to 
sell in. I was told by a tour driver down there that it would actually be 
better to sell in Chile than in Argentina, but that remains to be verified. 

About the exchange rate, I just used 850 because it made it an even 
$10,000. Although we were only in Argentina a couple of days to see the 
Perito Moreno glacier, we usually got 1,000 to the dollar and even saw as 
high as 1,100. This would give the bike an MSRP of like $8,500, still too 
high for a 300 if you ask me. I can get a new 2014 CB500X in Atlanta for a 
lot less money ( http://atlanta.craigslist.org/nat/mcd/4796435261.html ) is 
why I think so. I know this is a come-on price, not the out-the-door price, 
but even so.
