+1 the carbs are dirty and it is going to be too lean from the pods but should still run once you get the carbs clean. Also all carb bikes are harder to start when it gets cold, especially if the compression is a bit low, which happens to bikes that sit for a long time. (The rings get stuck) I'd say give it a shot of ether in the airbox but you removed it. pods may look cool but they suck on CV type carbs, you will most likely need velocity stacks as well to get the carbs operating consistently as they need a pressure differential in the intake to operate the slides.
