The euro models are known, and badged, as "Seven Fifties," not Nighthawks. Apparently because the word "Nighthawk" does not translate well into foreign languages.
Without a pic, it would be hard to tell. Does your bike have a grab handle at the rear of the seat, above the taillight and a different shaped gas tank? Those are unmistakable identifiers of the non-US edition.
