This is my second nighthawk and damn i love these bikes I had to sell my first one a few years back and was sitting with no ride going crazy one of my good bro's told me about this on sitting in a garage about 7 hours away and got me connected with the lady that owned it after a few discussions I took off for the drive on fathers day with one of my boys and picked it up for 500 it had slightly bent bars pretty rough paint and ran like crap but ran none the less I rode it a couple times around town but could not get a steady idle so started diggin into it turned out I had a bad pilot jet on one carb and a busted exhaust valve after replacing those it runs great my only complaint is that at 100 km/hour its screaming at 5500rpm since I had it apart last winter I gave it some tlc and did the body work up
